About ReturnSafe

A national platform connecting families, police, and partner agencies to report, search, and coordinate the recovery of missing persons across Rwanda.

Why ReturnSafe Exists

Missing persons cases in Rwanda (children, adults, elderly, disabled persons, trafficking victims, disaster victims, and refugees) have relied on fragmented, largely manual processes across police, hospitals, local government, and NGOs.

ReturnSafe replaces paper records, phone calls, and isolated databases with one centralized, interoperable platform, integrating AI-assisted matching, GIS-based search coordination, and secure interoperability with government and institutional systems, built to improve public safety and reunification rates while protecting privacy and dignity.
